Abstract

This course  material was compiled within the European IDAS-OSACA initiative. It was already used for several courses and seminars in order to introduce into the OSACA approach and to explain the technical details.

 

Overview

Part I : Introduction into the OSACA Architecture
This part provides a comprehensive introduction into the OSACA principles. You are informed about the basic approach of OSACA.The main building blocks of OSACA and some example implementations are described.

 

Part II : Programming OSACA Applications
This part is designed for application programmers who intend to program OSACA applications, so-called Architecture Objects (AO). A demo example (a very simple simulation of a numerical control) is used to explain how OSACA applications are structured and how the different components of the OSACA architecture are used.
